College Knowledge is a program for high school collegebound students and their parents. Two staff members share this program; one presenting the book materials and the other the electronic materials available through the library to help them in the college preparation process.
Handouts, including a step by step planning calendar and a bibliography, are passed out to the students. A cart of reference and circulating books are pulled and the contents explained. Following the book presentation Internet links and CD ROM products are presented. A general question and answer period follows.
The group is then dismissed to browse the books, ask individual questions and browse the Internet using the Site Seeing Tour handout.
